Is FALL a Good Time to Buy or Sell a Home?

When the leaves start changing and football season is in full swing, many people aren’t thinking about real
estate. But FALL can actually be a very good time to make a move.

For buyers, there can be less competition than during the busy Spring and Summer months. That doesn’t
mean there aren’t great homes available. It simply means you may have more time to look, think through
your options and find a home that truly fits your needs.

For sellers, Fall buyers are often serious buyers. If someone is looking for a home this time of year, they may
have a specific reason for making a move and are ready to act when they find the right property.
Here in Robertson and Cheatham Counties, Fall is also a beautiful time to see what an area is really like. You
can experience the neighborhoods, local schools, commute times and all the things that make a community
feel like home.

So, if you’ve been putting off a move because you thought you needed to wait until Spring, don’t
automatically count Fall out.

The best time to make a move is often when the right opportunity comes along.
